Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology is going strong even in the post graduate and doctoral programs and supporting the faculty for carrying out their research. It has M.Tech. Programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering and has many more subjects planned for the future. Many doctoral students are carrying out their research with various faculty members. The Doctoral program is gradually being extended to become an integral part of Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology.

Many members of Faculty of Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology have published books and research papers, and have conducted advanced courses in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science/ Information Technology to the faculty of other Institutions. For this, Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology collaborated with NASSCOM, Maritime Institute, Sun Microsystems, and Infosys.

Innovative and creative work leading to new designs, products, processes and services is the bed rock of an engineering institution. Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology launched a project for the use of non-conventional sources of energy and developed technology to convert a 10hp diesel engine to run on LPG. This engine can be used in rural area and its conversion into a diesel engine can be done on site in about 4 hours by a team of semi-skilled workers.

This great achievement is accompanied by Galgotias Business School being ranked among ‘Top Choice’ colleges by ‘Mail Today’ recently. Undoubtedly, these coveted distinctions are giving the students a definite edge. The Industry Institute Liaison Cell works enthusiastically, dealing with experts and industry’s best employers. It conducts exhibitions, consultancies, technical, festivals, awareness camps, quizzes, lectures, case studies, academic excursions and workshops to turn students into entrepreneurs. The ever zealous Career Planning & Development Division constantly develops training and motivational modules that include soft skills like stress management, analytical thinking, personality development, CV writing et al.
